Movement with meaning

Booking Bug contacted me as part of their rebrand to JRNI. Their logo had been designed to depict the journey of a customer moving through an experience enhanced by their experiential relationship management (XRM) offering and they wanted to build upon this idea with animation.

The initial storyboard—the client liked the idea but had some feedback on the overall animation style

They wanted to aim for a similar feel to the Slack rebrand from a few months earlier…

So after studying what worked in well in that, while trying to take cues from the dots and stripes in the new JRNI logo, a couple of rounds of review later the final version was delivered and the client was extremely happy.


The animation was used in video promotions and social media campaigns.
